Thanks, Joe. Layers of stringer surrounding a clear thin sheet (with tack-fuses) gives a more stable base for conventional two-step slump, but if you want to do stuff like the pieces above, you need the pieces loose and the sheet doesn’t work well.

Would it be a correct observation to say that a single layer of stringer, a clear thin sheet, and then another layer of stringer and then tack fusing the three layers gives a more stable base?

I have been looking at stringer projects and I really would like to try one and am just trying not to reinvent the wheel.

I really like your clear one with the gold and random blue / green stringers.

Top process temp was around 1280F. (I’d give you the whole schedule but I’m offsite at the moment and it’s back in the office.)

Hmmm…. this gives me an idea of something to do with a bunch of strips I cut for another project. What temp did you take this up to for the tack, if I might be so bold as to ask…
