I agree with Monika, and thought this before I read her post…Kiwi fruit.
I won’t be at BEcon…it’s one of my goals to attend, but finances aren’t cooperating with it for this year.

It’s the bottom side of group of giant alien photosynthesizing jellyfish descending on suburban Portland, attracted by the heat radiating from a partially opened garage containing a Rather Large Kiln.
Trust me. I know these things…
And not only that, Gary, but it’s a futureshot, because the RLK has yet to make it into the garage. Oliver Wendell Kiln is still in the storage room, awaiting his prospective housemate’s having time to actually renovate the space. Hopefully that will happen this month. Hopefully.
But yeah–and here I worried that it was too hard. And since I didn’t put a “first out” limit on this, I owe you all a drink. I also owe one to Kat, who got there first (she sent an email last night).
Cool pic, eh? My mom makes all this dried fruit and the kiwi were especially gorgeous. My studio light table had a brief and shining (clean) moment yesterday, the kiwi were right there on the kitchen counter…and the rest is history.
