I wouldn't hesitate to buy a new iPhone, I'd just get ready for a lot of cussing when it comes to using any advanced feature that has to be supplied by AT&T (like the 3G network). And come to think of it, maybe having AT&T provide the network is for the best--if they had a GOOD network, iPhones would probably take over the world. Which reminds me. It's about time for me to update a report on the apps on my phone. Thanks for the update on the AT&T challenges. My husband & I are Apple fans and he's wanted an iphone since the first ones came out. About a month ago I got the burn for an iphone, but knew new ones were coming out. Now, with the announcement about the new ones, well I'm hopeful that both of us will enjoy these gems soon! And fortunately, we are no longer restricted by an existing contract...just waiting for the right timing. Sorry to hear about the AT&T service issues.
